Powerful addition announced to New Saab 9-3 range
Saab unveil New 9-3 Vector Sport model with 1.9TTiD Twin Turbo diesel engine
Following the extremely positive reception to our sensational New Saab 9-3 Aero 1.9TTiD models at the beginning of the year, we are pleased to announce that the availability of the powerful new 180PS 1.9TTiD unit - complete with twin turbos - has now been extended to include our popular Vector Sport model.
The introduction of the New Saab 9-3 Vector Sport 1.9TTiD model means that Saab's much praised Twin Turbo Diesel engine will now be available to a much wider audience. The new car combines the modest fuel consumption of a smaller diesel with the power (180PS) and torque (400 Nm) of a larger petrol engine. Autocar described the engine as having "impressive urge from near tickover" and "remarkably free-revving for a diesel".
Cleaner emissions
Like the existing Aero models, the new Vector Sport 1.9TTiD features low CO2 emissions and excellent economy - factors which make the new 1.9TTiD models an excellent choice for both drivers and fleet decision makers.
