At GM UK Fleet, we're committed to keeping you up to date with vehicle pricing and new model launches. The latest changes are summarised as follows:
Revised pricing for Saab range
With effect from 1 June 2008 the Recommended Retail Price of Saab models will increase by an average of 1.9%. Selected option prices will also be subject to an increase in retail price. These increases reflect the ongoing impact of inflation and exchange rate movements on our costs but are below the current level of retail price inflation.
We are taking the step of informing you in advance of the increases coming into effect, in order that you may benefit from this prior notification. In particular, if you order your new vehicles before midnight on 31 May 2008 we undertake to supply them at the current (i.e. pre-increase) price.*1

Reduced CO2 figures for Saab 9-3 models
Reflecting our commitment to tax-efficient, cost-effective motoring, we are pleased to announce reduced CO2 emissions and improved fuel economy for Saab 9-3 1.9TiD (150PS) models. As the following tables illustrate, the changes mean that the 9-3 Saloon model drops one Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax band while the Convertible drops a full two bands. The Convertible also sees a £25 reduction in its VED banding. This is great news for Fleet Decision Makers and Company Car Drivers alike with great savings accruing from these improved figures - almost £100 for the Saloon model and just over £230 for the Convertible for Company Car Drivers in the 40% tax bands.

Saab 9-5 Turbo Edition
Moving on, we are also pleased to announce the introduction of a great new Saab model, the 9-5 Turbo Edition. Available in a choice of Saloon and Estate body styles with four engine options and the choice of five-speed manual or automatic transmissions, the new car is the culmination of Saab's 30-year leadership in turbocharging. Most notably, it combines the characteristics and performance of a bigger engine without the usual downsides, such as extra weight, higher fuel consumption and excessive CO2 emissions.
Two specific Turbo Edition versions are available. 2.0t (150PS), 2.3t (185PS) and 1.9TiD (150PS) models feature an extensive specification, based
on Linear SE trim, with the addition of the following standard features:
- 17" 5-spoke alloy wheels
- Leather Sport seats
- Electric driver's seat
- Heated front and rear seats
- Headlight washers
2.3T (260PS) models are based on the Aero trim, plus the following features:
- DVD Satellite Navigation
- Dual electric seats
- Heated rear seats
